Welcome
to Echoes of the Snow Leopard!!!!!
We
have come to the page
I enjoy sharing the most
because it involves sharing
my kitties and doggies with you,
they bring you comfort
and peace when all else
is crazy
Their love is unconditional
they will love you no
matter how much you hollar
at them
or whether you shoe them
off the bed, they will
love you
Mine have brought me much
joy and happiness over
the years
I have had many pets
Some are still alive and
unfortunately some have
crossed over that Rainbow
Bridge
and wait for me to get
there
Their purrs and barks are like magic
to not only our ears but
our hearts and souls.

In memory of My Dogs: Toby, Mickey, Brownie, Princess & Mandy
And my Cats: Tigger, Christie, Misty, Bulldozer, Teency Fuzz, and Booger
It takes us back to Brighter years,
to happier Sunlit days
And to precious moments
that will be with us always
And these fond recollections
are treasured in the heart
To bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part.
There is a bridge of memories
from Earth to Heaven above...
It keeps our dear ones near us
It's the bridge that we call love
I had my first pet when I was 2.
Toby was his name.
We had the best of times and more.
I cried when he was lost.
I made my father go
and find him. But he was lost
I will never forget you my sweet Toby!!
I lost my sweet Micky who was my Grandparents dog
We then kept him with us.
But I will never forget the day
when I was told he was with us no more.
I cried and cried till I could cry no more.
He passed over that Rainbow Bridge because
his heart needed to Rest
Brownie was our last dog when we lived in N.Y.
He stayed on our back porch
He managed a few times to get loose.
I remember the time when he came to find me
when I got out of High School one day.
I will treasure our Walks in the Summers when
we spent them at the lake.
. Your time had come, because you could
not whether us moving. So you crossed over
to that Rainbow Bridge in the Sky
Tigger was our cat who whethered our Move to Texas.
We all loved him very much. Mainly my brother.
One day we found him with a hole in his heart
He could not be healed,
So he was put to Rest.
I could not cry as I was cried out.
from all our Losses before.
Tigger's Loss affected my brother as
he cried for both of us.
The Rainbow Bridge has plenty of Room for You..
We would years later get too Kittens from a friends litter
We named them Christy and Misty
They both were sweet and full of love.
As time went Christy had kittens. All were boys.
We named them Booger, Bulldozer because he was always the pushy one
The Little one of the bunch we named Teency Fuzz.
As time went Christy crossed to the Other side as she was taken too soon..
So we watched over her boys for her to their end.
They all in time had to be put down due to their illness
Bulldozer was my Mother's Favorite, Booger my sisters.
Teency Fuzz was my favorite because of our bond..
They will be sorely missed.
As time went on Misty had a littler as well. We couldn't keep
So we found homes for them all..
Misty soon was hurt and had to have back legs amputated
She took to me and we formed a strong bond after Teenz
But as time went her time was near. She was losing her site
And couldn't keep her balance
I cradled her to me and was hard to let go
As she laid there against my shoulder
One rainy day
we had to take her to her final resting place
I hope to see all of them one day as they all hold a dear place in my heart.
But I know each one is being looked after and more
Take care all and see you soon.
Princess our Basset Hound.
She was my sisters dog. But she spent a lot of time with us.
She loved to go for walks and much more too
She was loved by all
She got up there in years and one day
Sadly to say we learned she had Cancer.
She was in such pain, we decided to relieve her of the Pain
And let her cross over. So she could .
play with Mickey, Brownie, and Toby Too
She was a Princess
And will never be forgotten!
Mandy was our Last Dog..
Everyone loved her and knew her by Heart.
She never wanted me to be out of her site.
And if I had to leave she was determined to come follow me
One day she got out and lucky she was found
As she went looking for at the park,
the kids all knew who she was
And let the nice Police Officer know.
So she could be brought home
In September of 2015, Mandy took ill
We knew she had a Tumor
That could not be removed.
So we sent her over that Rainbow Bridge
A Lakota Prayer
Great Spirit, you are
everything
And yet above everything
You are first and always
have been
Through you our children
will have strong hearts
And they will walk the
straight path in a sacred
manner
Help me to walk the sacred
path of life
Without difficulty
With my mind and heart
continually fixed on you!
Amen
